OUR PRESCRIPTION POLICY
Prescriptions will be filled only if a patient's medical care is current. If you need a prescription filled, please call from 8:30 until noon and our staff will be glad to assist you. If a call is placed after 1:00, your prescription may be delayed until the following day.
PAYMENT
Primary and secondary insurance will be filed for you as a courtesy. If you do not have insurance, payment is required at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, money orders, cashier checks, MasterCard/Visa. We accept assignment on Medicare, Kentucky Medicaid and BCBS/Kentucky. If your insurance requires a copayment, this is required at the time of service. If full payment cannot be met on your bill, arrangements can be made through our billing department to discuss being placed on a payment plan. If your insurance does not cover the charges, you are responsible for the bill. If your insurance applies the charges to your deductible, you are responsible for the total bill. If there is a balance after the insurance has paid, you are responsible for that balance. It is our goal to keep fees reasonable while still providing quality healthcare. If you have questions about your account, please call our billing department at (270) 575-0984, ext. 206.
DISMISSAL POLICY
If a patient has not met their financial commitment on their account and that account is placed with a professional collecting agency, the patient will receive a certified letter from this practice dismissing you from our care. You may obtain a copy of your records provided a record release is signed. If unusual circumstances arise, the physician has the right to dismiss a patient from this practice. A certified letter front this practice will be sent to the patient. A copy of your records will be sent to the physician of your choice upon signing a record release.
